PRODUCTION HOUSING

Founder Pam Swofford Journey

Founder Pam Swofford started Taylor-Made Meetings, Inc as an event planner orchestrating meetings for groups across the US, ranging in size from small groups to 3,000 people. Life changed when Pam met her now-husband Stan, a set medic in the film industry for 35 years.

After living the day-to-day life as a crew member's wife, Pam became interested in the Film/TV industry. She started visiting local Atlanta production offices for several months, determined to be a part of the business. To her surprise, going office to office paid off when The Blind Side welcomed her with open arms, and Production Housing was born.

Climbing the Steps

In 2005, the Film & TV industry started to boom in Georgia. Pam was the only local travel agent at the time assisting Georgia productions. She spent extensive personal time educating hotel partners on production works and all the nuances. One aspect Pam takes great pride in is her hotel relationships that extend outside Metro Atlanta into countless small towns throughout Georgia.

She discovered there was a lack of knowledge of smaller towns in Georgia where film crews would constantly film. She focused on becoming the go-to person for hotels. Not limiting herself to just Georgia, Pam has worked with 100 film & TV productions across the US to date. She enjoys the personal relationships the industry has brought into her life and considers her clients as family.
